Inspection Rewinder Machine
An inspection rewinder machine is an equipment commonly used in various industries, particularly in the printing, packaging, labeling, and converting industries. Its main function is to inspect and rewind rolls of material, such as paper, film, or other flexible materials, ensuring quality control and efficient production processes.

Description
Floating Unwind Stand
- Shaft-less unwind arrangement for quick loading with motorized in and out movement and loading / unloading of jumbo rolls (UP/ DOWN) through hydraulic cylinder. Proximity sensors ensure the maximum & minimum movements according to jumbo roll width
Web gripper with Splicing Table
- Web gripper assembly is mounted on splicing table for gripping the lm or paper by two pneumatic cylinders A splicing table is used for removing defective print for salvage and is taken into auxiliary rewind powered through an Asynchronous motor
Air
- Air Pressure at Machine : Min. 6 Kg/cm2 Water Content : Below 0.01% Max. Air Consumption : 10M3/Hr
Edge Guide System
- Web guide system is provided for both side unwind and rewind with ultrasonic sensor and ac motor controlled by digital drives
Pull Unit
- One pull roller, driven by independent Asynchronous motor (which acts as a master drive) on which a rubber pressure roller is nipped by adjustable pressure. The unit isolates unwind and rewind tensions.
Unwind Tension Control
- The machine, with Auto tension controller and Asynchronous motor, is equipped to control web tension between unwind and pull stations. The tension selection is available on touch panel. The web passes over a roller arrangement positioned between the Unwinder and Pull unit. Torque applied to unwind roll varies based on diameter to maintain the set web tension in the zone
Noise Level
- The level of sound pressure of the machine is within: 85dB (A) with following conditions: • With 80-100% of the maximum web width • At a speed equal to 80% maximum operation speed
Rewind station
- Shaft-less rewind arrangement for quick loading with motorized in and out movement and loading / unloading of jumbo rolls (UP/ DOWN) through hydraulic cylinder. Proximity sensors ensure the maximum & minimum movements according to jumbo roll width. The lay-on roller provided on Rewinder is kept in contact with winding substrate (reel) with two pneumatic cylinders
Side Trim Arrangement
- Before the rewind section, the machine is equipped with a grooved roller with arrangement of blade holder assembly on the two ends to initiate side trimming if required Stroboscope: A full length stroboscope is provided in the machine to see the defects in the printed films. 100% defect detection system: Optional at extra cost Synchronization with 100% web Inspection System can be done which is optional
